The Second Science Progress Meeting of DESERVE will be held from 4 May to 6 May 2015 at the German Research Centre for Geosciences GFZ, Potsdam, Germany. The aim is to exchange the scientific results of DESERVE, as well as to discuss and coordinate upcoming research activities. On the one hand, sessions focusing on the DESERVE research topics are planned, on the other hand specific group meetings can be arranged. Besides, cross cutting issues like education and publications, as well as the planning beyond the DESERVE funding period are put up for discussion. A side meeting subsequent to the DESERVE Science Progress Meeting, will run through the mid-term evaluation by the Helmholtz Association.
